 My name is Indra Bergs, and I grew up in Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia.

In October 2024, I completed my three-year acting studies and have been working as an actress ever since. I have also been modeling regularly for several years, either on the runway or in front of the camera. It has been my dream to be an artist since elementary school, where I always played one of the lead roles in various musicals, such as “The Rainbow Fish.” My stage presence was awakened early on, but this was eventually suppressed in secondary school by the pressure to do something “secure.” Because of this, I wanted to become an elementary school teacher for a good five years, since I can easily build connections with children and still have a strong connection to my inner child. However, when I started literature/acting lessons in the tenth grade, my teacher quickly told me that I had great talent on stage. From that moment, there was no turning back from my original plan.

My big goal is to bring life into roles and their characters in the way directors around the world are searching for, to convey the sensitivity and empathy that is gradually disappearing from the world, and to radiate the authenticity that has only brought me a few lasting friendships so far, as hardly anyone dares to talk about what is inside of them, to feel what they are experiencing, or to simply be honest with themselves. There is a saying: “Strength lies in calmness,” and I believe the power to move the world lies in authenticity so maybe I can encourage some people to allow themselves to feel. Accordingly, I wish to embody roles that are deep, whether protagonist or antagonist—everyone has a story that fascinates me.

In my free time, I am very athletic; I danced regularly for ten years, I go bouldering, do pole dancing, visit the gym, and can swim pretty well; I also have a diver’s license. As a result, I have good body control and can portray action-packed roles very well. I sing every day and plan to take many more steps in that direction, which is why I would also be well suited for a Disney princess. I have the depth for a mentally ill character, the strength and determination for a pirate, and the love, empathy, and softness for a princess—so no matter what facets of a character come my way, I am ready to open my heart to them.
